Oh, the Love of Blanket

Ellie's Aunt Emily gave Eleanor this quilt before she was born. Since then Ellie has used it to snuggle, sleep, bundle up through the cold winter, built tents, play peek-a-boo and hide under. She takes it with her whenever, where ever she can.

In fact, when my parents were here we were having a hard time getting Eleanor to settle down in her car seat after hiking and it ended up that all it took was one touch from blanket and the knowledge that it was close by to put her completely out. She loves to grab hold of the edges while she's falling asleep as well as play with the yarn ties.

It's pretty funny when Ellie decides she needs to take blanket on a walk with us... blanket is still a bit bigger than Ellie.
