Highlights from the Tippin Grandparents

We had a wonderful visit from G & G Tippin back at the end of June. Eleanor has a little book of pictures of her grandma and grandpa she loves to look at... it was fun to watch her really warm up to them while they were here and now she just adores the book and their pictures even more.

While the Tippins were here we did a ton of stuff. So, I'll have to break the visit down into a few entries. This first one is just the collective sense of their visit:

Lots of time at the park, meals together and time for them to really get to know Miss Eleanor's personality...

Eatin' cherries with Daddy and Grandpa

All ready for church
Waitin' for dinner
Looking at a water fountain with Grandma
Sliding - oh, what fun!
Just chillin' on the park bench... taking a little breather
One of the really fun things about the time we spent with Jon and Ruthie was watching Eleanor interact with them - and their reactions to her. We spend so much time with our little fire-ball that we forget some of the silly little quirks she has. It was great to have them adore her funny faces, ways of communicating with us despite her lack of English words and reactions to the people and activities around her.

the only thing you forgot was the ice cream stand! Love the pics, as always,
