Hilarious

So this was the only picture that we took on Saturday... Silly girl in her car seat. We had given her a banana (totally her favorite) and let her munch away. She was content for a really long time. Eventually, however, she finished eating and playing with the peel and decided she needed to "wear" it. You can't see it in the picture, because I couldn't get the right angle from the front seat, but she pulled the peel over her head and had it draped over her shoulders. You can tell she's proud of herself and knows she's being silly!

Ellie often "wears" things like this. Although, usually not things that are quite so messy... She wanders around the house, collecting favorite objects: hats, headbands, sweaters, jackets and then puts them "on." Since she's still not quite coordinated enough to actually get a hat on her head on a regular basis, the clothing items end up draped around her shoulders. She just continues happily on her way like this until the object falls off (or in the case of the banana peel, we take it away). Then she finds another item of clothing to "wear."
